Department for Internal Policies of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Department for Internal Policy of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan was established for the purposes of enforcement by the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan of his constitutional authority in the sphere of internal policy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The major tasks of the Department are as follows:

• ensuring the implementation of the internal policy defined by the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan in ethno-religious and sociopolitical spheres;
• ensuring the cooperation between the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan and political parties and movements, non-governmental and religious associations, other nonprofit organizations and institutions of civil society;
• gathering, consolidation and analysis of information on a sociopolitical situation in the Republic, forthcoming and most important events, course of political campaigns, international and interreligious relations, activities of political parties and movements, public, religious and other nonprofit organizations and institutions of civil society, their attitude to the highlights of the internal policy of the Republic, as well as viewpoint of mass media on this matter for the purposes of preparation of corresponding reports for the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan;
• analysis and forecasting of political processes development in the Republic of Tatarstan, consultation with State government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan and local government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan, political parties and movements, public, religious and other nonprofit organizations and institutions of civil society on the basis of the obtained data, preparation of corresponding analytic materials for the  Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan;
• preparation of proposals to the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan on the policy planning issue.
