On September 12, at the Eastern Economic Forum 2018, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhnanov had a meeting with President and Chief Executive Officer of Yokogawa Electric Takashi Nishijima.
According to Tatarstan President, Yokogawa is a strategic partner of Tatarstan with regards to automated control systems. Minnikhanov appreciated activities of the Japanese company with petrochemical enterprises and universities of the republic.
"The relationship between Tatarstan and the Yokogawa company has a long history. During this time, we have developed strong partnership relations. You are involved in many projects implemented in the republic,” Tatarstan President emphasized.
In his turn, Nishijima said that Yokogawa Electric has implemented about 30 different projects in the republic and plans to continue this work. This applies both to cooperation with educational institutions and oil companies. In particular, Yokogawa plans to work with the University of Innopolis to develop software for petrochemical enterprises.
